The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man found with 407 wraps of Arizona hard drugs in the Ojo area of the state. The suspect, 26-year-old Ikechukwu Michael, was apprehended by a team of detectives from the Ojo police division on June 17, 2024.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Benjamin Hundyin stated that the force received a tip-off about a drug trafficker transporting drugs to an unknown destination. Acting on this information, the detectives mobilized to the scene, resulting in Michael’s arrest and the seizure of the drugs.
The recovered drugs were taken to the station and kept as evidence. SP Hundyin emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and warned that the command would not tolerate the illegal sale and movement of drugs in the state.
