Ajiboye Omodewu, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has died. Omodewu, who hailed from Otu in Itesiwaju Local Government Area, passed away about a year after receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.
Omodewu, a former Commissioner under the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, was a dual citizen of Nigeria and the United States. He had recently completed his law degree and law school.
The death of the party chairman was confirmed by the APC Publicity Secretary in Oyo State, Olawale Sadare.
