The attention of the Coordinator/ SA Mobilisation to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Dr Betta Edu has been drawn to the above subject matter which has shown the extent to which certain individuals can go in this country to malign and blackmail innocent people just to achieve their set deceitful goals, this is frightening.
The poorly scripted press statement purportedly issued by the non-existent “Coordinators” of “Betta Edu Media Centre” attests to this.
Notedly, the consciousness of right thinking members of the public has been assaulted by this banal, amateurish and error-laden press statement attributed to a faceless group calling itself “Coordinators of Betta Edu Media Centre” wherein it purportedly accused the Honourable Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu of use and dump, kicked against her reinstatement to office and endorsed one Hajia Halimat Tejuosho Adenike as her replacement.
It is bewildering to note that Dr Edu’s traducers can go to this infantile but ridiculous mile to manufacture a pseudo group and baseless allegations against her just to assassinate her character, impinge her integrity and present her as tainted, unreliable and unfit for public office.
However, it is also heartwarming that this hired goons and their pay masters, in their various desperate plots to undermine Dr Edu, have often ended up making themselves laughing stocks before Nigerians.
Thoughtlessness and shameless display of crash ignorance have continued to dog the paths of these sadists who have vowed to pull down Dr Edu by all means or how else can any explain the laughable inference in the so-called press release that the Hon. Minister has a Media Centre with Cordinators in the 5 of the Federation Plus Abuja?
Not even the Minister for Information who manages public information and media engagement on behalf of the federal government has or maintain anything akin to the kind of media structure the faceless group attributed to Dr Edu.
Similarly, not even during the electioneering campaigns did any of the frontline presidential candidates, including Mr President, engage the services of, or maintain “media centres/ coordinators” in the states of the federation, including Abuja, what then should Dr.Edu be doing with the so called media centre and coordinators?
More laughable is the fact that those who claimed to be Media centre coordinators of Minister Edu did not know the proper title/ designation of their supposed principal, thus addressing her as the Minister for “Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management” instead of Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. It is obvious they were in a hurry to deliver on their hatchet job and collect their payment!. What a shame!
Now, in their frenzy to tarnish Dr Edu’s image, the sponsored character assassins failed to mention the job specifications of the alleged “Betta Edu Media Centre” and its invisible ” Cordinators” or mention one single assignment they have executed for her .
Let it be on record that Dr. Edu is a focused and result oriented technocrat who has no time for inanities. She neither has nor maintains a media centre or employs the services of “coordinators” across the country.
Nigerians should, therefore, disregard as cheap blackmail, the purported media centre and coordinators attributed to her.
It is a phantom without substance and a habitual hallow ritual of a gang of desperados, hired goons, and attention seekers paid to malign her and tarnish her image. The rascals should be ignored.
