Florish and Streeze, housemate pairs in the ongoing Big Brother Naija “No Loose Guard” season, have been evicted from the reality TV show. The eviction was announced by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during Sunday night’s eviction episode.
Four pairs had been nominated for possible eviction: Radicals, Streeze, Florish, and Beta. The WannixHandi pair, holding the “save only” power as Custodians, chose to save the Beta pair from eviction. This left the other housemates to nominate from the remaining three pairs, ultimately resulting in the eviction of the Streeze and Florish pairs.
Florish pair members Rhuthee and DJ Flo, along with Streeze pair members Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge, were sent home. Upon her eviction, Rhuthee expressed her difficulty in processing the experience, stating, “I cannot say anything; mentally, it has been a lot, I do not know what to say.” DJ Flo added, “Well, the plan was obviously till the end; I didn’t think I would be right here. Moving from now, the world is my oyster.”
The “No Loose Guard” season of Big Brother Naija, which began on July 28 with 28 housemates, is set to conclude on October 6. With eight evictions over the past three weeks, 20 housemates remain in the competition. Obi-Uchendu also announced that the Custodian challenge and the Head of House (HoH) ballot will no longer continue for the remainder of the show.
