The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, has praised the Armed Forces of Nigeria for their unwavering dedication and bravery in addressing the numerous security challenges facing the country.
In his Eid-el-Maulud message to the troops, Gen. Musa commended their courage and valor in defending the nation and keeping it united. He urged the Armed Forces to continue upholding the highest standards of discipline, loyalty, and integrity, which are the hallmarks of the Nigerian military. He also encouraged them to maintain unity with other security agencies in the fight against the forces of evil and to restore peace and stability nationwide.
The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), highlighted the success of Operation FANSAN YAMMA in Zamfara State, applauding the troops for eliminating the notorious bandit leader Haliru Buzu and other criminals.
In a statement issued by the Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, Gen. Musa also extended his gratitude to the troops of Operation HADIN KAI in Maiduguri for their heroic efforts in rescuing thousands of flood victims during the recent devastating floods in the area.

He called on all Nigerians to embrace the virtues of tolerance, mutual understanding, and respect for constitutional authority. Reflecting on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, which emphasize peace, compassion, justice, and service to humanity, Gen. Musa noted that these same values guide the military’s mission to protect the nation’s territorial integrity and safeguard the security and well-being of all Nigerians.
