The International Police Chaplain Sustainable Development and Law Enforcement, Inc. USA (IPCSL) has appointed Nigerian Col. Blessing Akinlosotu as its Africa Director.
In his new role, Akinlosotu will oversee the affairs of IPCSL in all 55 African countries, following his promotion to Africa Director and Commander-in-Chief.
A statement from Mr. Emmanuel Daudu, Akinlosotu’s Special Assistant on Media, confirmed the appointment.
Quoting the appointment letter, the statement highlighted: “Your overall role is to lead and manage the African branch under the authority of the High Council in compliance with our Statutes and Internal Regulations, and in harmonisation with the international conventions to which we have adhered. Your specific tasks will be listed in your Diplomatic Accreditation Certificate that will be awarded to you at the investiture ceremony in November 2024 and will be the subject of an official mission order.”
The letter also noted Akinlosotu’s contributions: “Akinlosotu has represented his country in promoting peaceful relations negotiations and has proven to be an effective communicator and negotiator, navigating complex issues, and finding common ground among different parties. Your appointment as the official representative of our organization as the Regional Coordinator of Africa for three years with the rank of Chaplain Colonel/Commander Africa for IPCSL.”
Akinlosotu’s appointment letter, dated July 27, was signed by Dr. Tardieu Ridore, President and Chaplain General in Chief, High Council of Administration, Florida, USA; Amb. Dr. Wilkenson Cesar, Vice President/Chaplain General, High Council of Administration, Florida, USA; and Dr. Wesly Milard, Public Relations/Chap Lt.-Gen., High Council of Administration, IPCSL, Florida.
The statement further indicated that the appointment is in accordance with Article 4 of the IPCSL statutes favoring the extension of the organization to the international level and Article 9, paragraph (a) of the internal regulations of the IPCSL, listing the Regional Coordination among the other Administrative Divisions of Resolution No. SP-RESO 003ARC-/EN/HCA-270624 taken by the High Council of Administration (HCA) of IPCSL.
