Doma United Football Club of Gombe has announced the dissolution of its entire technical crew, management, and backroom staff. This decision was confirmed by the club’s Chairman, Suleiman Umar, in a statement issued on Wednesday.
Umar explained that the move is part of the club’s ongoing efforts to reposition itself in line with its long-term objectives. He stated that the club is currently in the process of recruiting a new management team, technical crew, and backroom staff who share the club’s vision and are committed to achieving its goals.
“The club is actively working behind the scenes to appoint a new management team, technical crew, and backroom staff who align with our vision and fully support the club’s goals,” Umar said.

Umar reiterated that the primary objective of Doma United is to secure a return to the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL). The club was promoted to the NPFL in 2022 but was relegated to the Nigeria National League (NNL) after just one season in the top flight.
