Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command have apprehended Nuhu Ezra in possession of a human skull and bones. The arrest was made by officers from the Iddo police division at Gosa Kipikipi village, Lugbe, Abuja, following credible intelligence.
FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, stated that the suspect was tracked and arrested with the body parts. During interrogation, Ezra claimed he found the human remains in the bush while hunting in Kuje and intended to sell them for N600,000.
Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Benneth Igweh, has ordered a thorough investigation to determine the origin of the body parts, the identity of the intended buyer, whether Ezra killed anyone to obtain the remains, and the duration of his involvement in this illegal activity.
