Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has dissolved the 17 Local Government Transition Implementation Committee (TIC) Chairmen, effective September 6, 2024. The committees, initially formed on June 9, 2023, have now handed over responsibilities to Directors of Personnel Management (DPMs), who will manage the local governments until elections are held on October 9, 2024.
In a statement signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, Governor Mutfwang commended the committee chairmen for their leadership and developmental work. He urged them to continue providing guidance to promote peace and unity within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the state.
The Governor encouraged the former chairmen to collaborate with constituents for the party’s success in the upcoming elections and expressed gratitude to the people of Plateau State for their support. He highlighted that the outcome of the PDP primaries reflects the strong connection between the people and the party.
Governor Mutfwang reiterated his commitment to an inclusive, transparent, and accountable administration serving all Plateau citizens.
