The Nigerian Army has reported a successful operation against terrorists in Kaduna State, killing two and recovering arms and ammunition. Acting on credible intelligence, soldiers stationed at Kwaga village in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area ambushed the terrorists along the Birnin Gwari-Manini axis, resulting in a fierce firefight.
During the clash, troops neutralized two terrorists with overwhelming firepower, forcing the others to flee. The operation also led to the recovery of two AK-47 rifles, three rifle magazines, one Baofeng radio, and three motorcycles used by the fleeing terrorists.
The Army reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the safety of all Nigerians, stating that troops remain in pursuit of the wounded terrorists.
