The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has accused armed security operatives of invading its national secretariat in Abuja. NLC President, Mr. Joe Ajaero, disclosed the incident in a message sent to the group WhatsApp platform of Labour Correspondents on Wednesday.
According to Ajaero, the invasion of the Labour House occurred around 9 p.m., with security personnel in both uniform and plainclothes entering the premises.
“Comrades, armed security men, both in uniform and mufti, just invaded the Labour House in their numbers and were at the 10th Floor and 2nd Floor,” Ajaero stated.
He further alleged that the operatives ransacked the bookshop, seizing materials, and loading them into their van, claiming the items were used to incite and organize the recent protest.
