The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL) has announced a significant Profit After Tax of N3.3 trillion for the 2023 financial year, marking a strong performance by the company.
Chief Pius Akinyelure, Chairman of the NNPCL Board, revealed this during a media briefing on the company’s Audited Financial Statements on Monday.
This profit represents a notable increase of N749 billion from the N2.54 trillion recorded in the previous financial year, 2022.
Alongside its impressive profit, NNPCL has also declared a dividend of N2.1 trillion for its shareholders.
