Peace and calm are gradually returning to Abuja, the nation’s capital, as the intensity of the #EndBadGovernance protests begins to subside.
pathwaynews observed that by midday on the fourth day of demonstrations, many key areas of the city—including the Federal Secretariat, Airport Road, and Kubwa Expressway—were almost deserted.
This decrease in activity follows an early morning address by President Bola Tinubu, who called on protesters to end their demonstrations and engage in dialogue with the government.
At Moshood Abiola Stadium, only a small group of protesters was seen lingering around the premises in the morning, with a few police trucks also present.
One protester attributed the reduced turnout to factors such as fatigue, religious observances, and the impact of the President’s address earlier in the day.
