The Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja has announced the arrest of Ahmed Tailor, who is accused of sponsoring and distributing Russian flags to protesters in Kano State.
This was disclosed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumiyiwa Adejobi, via the police media WhatsApp platform. Adejobi reported that Ahmed Tailor was apprehended in possession of seven Russian flags within the state.
Adejobi stated, “Ahmed Tailor was arrested in Kano today with seven more flags. He is identified as one of the sponsors of acts of sedition, involving the flying of Russian flags and inciting calls for anarchy in Kano and across Nigeria.”
