Prof. Na’Allah, in his remarks, reflected on his memorable five-year journey, highlighting the significant academic and non-academic developments achieved under his leadership. He stated:
“It was five years of excitement, a great opportunity to work together and raise the banners of the great UniAbuja, which can be regarded as a University for National Unity. I am grateful to every student and staff member for their love and support, and I apologize to those who, in whatever way, might have felt offended by any of my actions as Vice Chancellor. My goal was always to go for the best, no matter how difficult! I have no doubt that the University of Abuja would continue to achieve its destiny of greatness and nothing and no one would take it backward!”
In her acceptance remarks, Acting VC Prof. Maikudi expressed gratitude to Prof. Na’Allah for his leadership and vision, which have elevated the university’s global recognition. She said:
“Your tireless dedication and unwavering commitment to the university have laid a solid foundation for us to build upon, and for that, we are deeply grateful.”
