The Federal Government and the citizens have been called upon to imbibe dialogue as a means of solving Nigeria current challenges by Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
Originally scheduled for August 5-7, the assembly will now take place from September 2-4 due to the ongoing protests in the country. Abubakar emphasized that the decision to reschedule the event is in the best interest of all stakeholders, ensuring that participants worldwide are adequately informed.
“We are Nigerians first, before being engineering practitioners,” Abubakar stated, underscoring the importance of national unity and collaboration during challenging times. He urged both leaders and citizens to work together to restore normalcy in the nation, stressing the need for dialogue and consensus-building.
Abubakar reiterated COREN’s commitment to contributing to the development of the country, enriching democracy, and improving governance. He called on all parties involved to engage in respectful and logical discussions to resolve the current situation.
While the dates for the assembly have changed, all other details, including the venue, remain the same.
