Dr. Fauziya Ado, Special Assistant to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State on the School Feeding Programme, has underscored the programme’s critical role in improving education across northern Nigeria.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja, Dr. Ado emphasized that a comprehensive strategy is needed to bolster infrastructure and elevate educational quality while recognizing the importance of the school feeding initiative.
“The school feeding programme is essential for supporting families financially, alleviating their burdens, and promoting consistent school attendance,” Dr. Ado stated. She highlighted a notable increase in female school enrollment as a positive development but stressed the need for continued improvements to sustain this progress.

“Strengthening school facilities, providing teacher training, and maintaining the school feeding programme are crucial,” she said. “We must ensure that every child, especially girls, has the opportunity to excel academically and secure a better future.”
Dr. Ado also pointed out the necessity of addressing students’ basic needs, such as hygiene supplies, to create an environment conducive to learning. “By focusing on these areas, we can provide all children, regardless of their background, with the resources they need to succeed.”
She expressed gratitude to Governor Sani for his dedication to the School Feeding Programme and acknowledged President Bola Tinubu for empowering youth to contribute to the Renewed Hope Agenda across various sectors.
Dr. Ado also thanked President Tinubu for his support, which has enabled her to serve effectively and contribute to the advancement of educational initiatives in the state.
