President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, effective August 14, 2024.
According to a statement issued by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Walson-Jack will succeed Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is set to retire on August 13, 2024.
Appointed as a Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017, Walson-Jack has served in several ministries.
President Tinubu thanked the outgoing Head of Service for her stewardship and tasked the incoming Head of Service with discharging her duties with innovative flair, integrity, and adherence to the rules and regulations of the Civil Service of the Federation.
