President Bola Tinubu has given the green light to Mr. Chukwuemeka Woke as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority. Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, announced this in Abuja on Thursday.
Ngelale described Woke as an experienced engineer and politician, highlighting his previous roles as Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers and Chief of Staff at the Government House, Port Harcourt, over many years.
Tinubu emphasized the importance of integrity and transparency in discharging duties, expecting Woke to uphold the highest standards. Additionally, Tinubu directed Woke to focus on harnessing and developing the water resources of the region, aiming for holistic and integrated industrial, agricultural, and community development through the Authority.
