President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to elder statesman and former Minister of Defence, Iya Abubakar, following the passing of his wife, Ummu Abubakar, who died at the age of 78 in Abuja.
In a statement released by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu noted that Ummu Abubakar, who was also the mother-in-law of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, will be remembered for her devotion to God and her commitment to family values.
The President prayed for God’s mercy on the departed soul and urged the family to uphold the good name she left behind
