President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Afam Osigwe on his election as the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). In a statement issued by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President also extended his congratulations to all newly elected officers of the NBA and commended the members for the successful conduct of the elections.
President Tinubu praised the outgoing NBA President, Yakubu Maikyau, for his effective leadership of Nigeria’s foremost legal association. He assured the new NBA leadership of his administration’s support in addressing the challenges facing the association and the legal profession as a whole.
