The Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) of the Nigerian Army, Major General Kevin Aligbe, has officially inaugurated the Examination Panel for the 2024 Senior Staff Course Qualifying Examination (SSCQE). As the Examination President, Major General Aligbe emphasized the importance of maintaining fairness, thoroughness, and uprightness in the conduct of the examination.
During the inauguration, General Aligbe highlighted that the panel members were selected due to their demonstrated integrity, honesty, and professional competence. He urged them to avoid any actions that could compromise the integrity of the examination, reminding them of their responsibilities as diligent and honorable senior officers of the Nigerian Army.
He further underscored the significance of the SSCQE, describing it as a crucial determinant in the career progression of the candidates. He stressed that the examination must be conducted with objectivity and transparency, as outlined in the Nigerian Army Examination Charter. The panelists, he noted, are tasked with assessing officers who will play a vital role in achieving the objectives of national defense and security.
General Aligbe also reminded the panelists to adhere to the guidelines of the examination, in line with the Nigerian Army standards, to ensure its smooth conduct. He emphasized the need for meticulousness and fairness in setting the examination, with the ultimate goal of evaluating the officers’ problem-solving abilities rather than treating the examination as a mere filtering process.
