Emmanuel France ,Veteran Nollywood actor has reportedly passed away.
The heartbreaking news was shared by Nigerian filmmaker Olufemi Ogedengbe on Instagram. In his post, Ogedengbe described France as a legend and fondly recalled their collaboration in Tanzania in 2006, where they worked on three films together. The circumstances surrounding the actor’s death remain undisclosed.
Expressing his sorrow, Ogedengbe wrote: “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends. He was one of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director. R.I.P.”
Born in Ghana, Emmanuel France was a talented actor with a long-standing dream of producing a film titled Ghana Must Go, a project close to his heart. He featured in numerous Nollywood films throughout his career.
